Explore Vail Village

Vail Village is the pedestrian-friendly commercial center of Vail and it’s filled with boutiques, restaurants, galleries, and more. This is the perfect place to do some shopping or grab a bite to eat. During the summer months, there are also free concerts held in Solaris Plaza. You can also take a ride on the gondola up to Mid-Vail for breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains.

Take a Scenic Drive on Trail Ridge Road

Trail Ridge Road is one of the most popular scenic drives in Colorado for good reason – it offers breathtaking views of mountain peaks, alpine meadows, wildflowers, and forests. The road is open from late May to early October weather permitting, so be sure to check conditions before heading out. Trail Ridge Road typically closes due to heavy snowfall in early October, so plan your trip accordingly!
