Visit Biltmore Estate

No trip to Asheville would be complete without a visit to the Biltmore Estate. This magnificent property, built in 1895 by George Vanderbilt, is the largest private home in America and sits on 8,000 acres of land. Today, the estate is open to the public and features a winery, Antler Hill Village & Winery, as well as extensive gardens and walking trails. A visit to Biltmore Estate is a truly magical experience.

Explore the River Arts District

The River Arts District is a must-visit for any art lover. This creative community consists of over 200 artists working in a variety of mediums including painting, pottery, sculpture, jewelry making, and more. The best way to experience the River Arts District is to take a leisurely stroll down Riverside Drive and pop into studios along the way. Be sure to stop for lunch at one of the many delicious restaurants in the area. We recommend The Junction or White Duck Taco Shop.

Asheville is surrounded by mountains, making it the perfect place for outdoor lovers who enjoy hiking and camping. There are countless trails to explore in Asheville, but some of our favorites include Mount Pisgah National Forest, Appalachian Trail , and Craggy Gardens Trail .
